As a historical flautist I enjoy playing both chamber music and working as a regular freelancer with many ensembles including the English Baroque Soloists, Musical and Amicable Society, Armonico Consort and Norwich Baroque.
As a soloist and chamber music player most of my work is with Passacaglia – below are some videos showcasing our recent projects including recordings of music by Pierre and Anne Danican-Philidor, and by CPE Bach.
I also enjoy teaching historical flute at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where we have several baroque flutes for students to try out, and a renaissance consort by Martin Wenner.
NORVIS Summer School
Since 2025 I have taken a baroque flute class at the NORVIS Summer School in Barnard Castle, UK, with students attending from all over the world. The course is a wonderful opportunity to study technique but also to explore chamber music with like-minded others and work with a wide range of historical music specialists. Take a look at the next course in August 2027! https://norvis.org.uk
