Welcome

Annabel with recorders and flute

Thank you for visiting my site! I hope you may find interesting and useful information here including information about concerts, courses and other musical projects I am involved in as a recorder and flute player and teacher.

Many of my performance activities are with the ensembles Passacaglia (baroque chamber music) and Fontanella Recorder Quintet. Read more about them on the Performance page of this site. I also do freelance playing as a baroque flautist and recorder player, and enjoy exploring the EWI (electronic wind synth) which I play in the band Art of Moog.

I am currently head of recorder at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and also teach at every level from complete beginners through to young professional artists. I am based in Kemble in the Cotswolds and am always happy to offer lessons and coaching from my home – please do contact me for further details.

You can read more about my educational activities on the Teaching page of this site. Also please do feel free to email me if you want to arrange a consultation lesson or ask a question.
